What is necessary to do to prepare the premise for floor sanding?

In order to properly prepare a premise for floor sanding, several steps should be completed.

Firstly, all furniture, appliances, and any other items that cannot be moved need to be covered with a plastic tarp to protect them from the dust and debris caused by the sanding process.

Secondly, any remaining items should be removed from the premises altogether in order to provide a clear and unobstructed work area. After that, any nails or screws sticking out of the floor should be removed and patched with wood filler.

Finally, any baseboards and trim should be removed, as well as any door thresholds that may be in the way of the sanders. Once these steps have been completed, the premises will be ready for floor sanding.
