The hallway of this house had a good floor, but it was necessary to make light sanding and oiling. The primary reason for the restoration was to make the floor much more substantial because the owner has a lot of guests on a daily basis.
Such herringbone restoration is functional when you have kids, pets, and more guests. And, it's much easier to clear the hallway every time you have to.
The job took a day and a half.
