Dust-free wood sanding

Dustless Floor Sanding

Dustless sanding is preferable by many customers, and it has a lot of advantages. Learn more about the process and why choose this methodology during floor restoration.

The process itself uses professional machinery with a built-in vacuum and a special bag. During the sanding process, it takes all the dust and keeps the premise out of any additional dirt.

After it's done, the sander uses different types of vacuum cleaners to clean every small detail. Later, the sawdust is used for gap filling with the same color wood (if it's not required to use small floorboards for filling the holes).

This method can be used for decking, floors, and stairs, and it's not applicable to walls, windows, and doors.

Advantages of dust-free sanding

The main advantage is that it keeps the property clean. Whether it is a residential or commercial place, this method allows the place to be ready for use immediately after completion, which is an exceptional advantage and facilitates the owner.

Also, it's good for people with allergies. Fine wood dust can lie on walls, windows, doors, etc., where it can later be inhaled, which is not healthy even if you are not allergic.

Last but not least - it's easier to clean. If you have lots of furniture (especially in commercial places, kitchens, bathrooms, living rooms), cleaning will be more expensive or will take longer if there is fine dust.

Disadvantages of dust-free sanding

Some companies charge additional fees for this methodology because it requires modern machinery and tools. It's worth it, but if you have a small budget, it may have an impact on the price.
