Floor sanding of two bedrooms 1-15m2, 2-13m2. The rooms are empty of furniture, the boards are checked for protruding nails. The pine floorboards boards are nailed where necessary. Sanding begins with the Deva belt sanding machine.
It started with belt sandpaper grain 36. We did the sanding until the boards' level and removed scratches and stains, then we continued with grain 60 on the sandpaper and finished with 80 grain.
We sand the edges with an edger machine with disc sanding grain 40 and 80. Also, we sanded the corners with a multi-machine with a triangular grinding tip.
After that, we prepared the floor for varnishing with a buffing machine with sandpaper grain 100. First, we applied coat varnish primer. After drying, the first coat is sanded with a buffing machine with 150 grit sandpaper.
We finished the flooring with two coats of Quideva matte lacquer.
The process takes 10 hours.
